We strive to meet the needs of new members of the community through our activities. By participating in our many events, we hope you find new friends, as well as become more familiar with your new surroundings.

Upcoming Events

Monthly Meeting
The first Wednesday of each month we hold a coffee meeting. Everyone is invited to attend. These are held in Members homes or local businesses. Please contact us at [email protected] to find out more!

6/7/2023: Coffee 10:30am at Emma Thomas’s house

Book Club - 3:00pm
Held the second Wednesday of every month at 3:00. We read and discuss a wide variety of books on all subjects, suggestion by the members.
Everyone is invited! Bring a friend.

Un-Wined - 4:00pm
Held the third Wednesday of every month at local Restaurants. A fun Social Hour

Out To Lunch - 11:30am at local eateries. Sometimes we walk before lunch.
Held the fourth Wednesday of every month at local restaurants.

Out and About
Out and Abouts may be held on any day/time other than regularly schedule monthly events. They provide opportunities to socialize with other members of Newcomers, to share common interests and to explore opportunities in our community. Nothing political or religious in nature permitted.

Golfing
This might start again in May...Every Thursday at 10am, come join others to golf the short par 3 course at Sand Creek Golf Course on Hitt Road. Meet in the Pro Shop. For more information, please call Susan Spencer 881-6959 or just show up and play!

Mexican Train!
This fun tile game is held in members homes on various days and dates (not Wednesday).
Bring a lunch dish and $6.00 in change. Come to have fun!

Twice a year, we have lunches open to the public. We raise funds at these festive events with raffle items. All proceeds go locally to The Senior Citizen Community Center for Meals on Wheels.
